A team of 15 Smeg UK employees and distributors spent their Saturday night cycling through London last weekend, as part of the annual Nightrider challenge. The 100km circular route started at the Lee Valley VeloPark and took in some of London’s most famous sights, including Westminster, Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral and Tower Bridge. Starting at 11.30pm in the evening, our brilliant team rode through the night, getting a different but spectacular view of the city. All members finished tired but injury free, crossing the finishing line between 6.00am and 9.30am the following morning.

The ride was a huge achievement and completing it isn’t the only satisfaction the team have; their efforts have raised a whopping £5,000 so far, with more donations expected after the event. The money raised will go to the Smeg Charity of the year, SeeSaw, which provides much needed support for bereaved children and young people in Oxfordshire.
