Smart Steam

Smart steam ovens combine steam with traditional cooking programmes for maximum flavour and moisture-rich roasting and baking results.

Steam is injected directly into the cavity and distributed evenly via the fan. Smart Steam cooking also helps reduce cooking times, too.

PYROLYTIC SELF CLEANING

Through the pyrolytic cleaning function, all dirt and grease is burned away effortlessly and transformed into ash which can be simply wiped away. There is no need for detergents, thanks to the extremely high temperature reached by the oven (500 °C)

Temperature probe

Temperature probes ensure perfect cooking results every time. The core temperature of food is monitored via a sensor located in the tip of the probe. By inserting into the thickest part of the meat, various cuts and sizes can be cooked precisely & to your preferred temperature for complete cooking control and truly succulent dishes.

Telescopic rails included as standard

Selected ovens include a set of telescopic rails as standard (usually an additional purchase)

Extending telescopic rails allows users easy access into the oven to safely check hot food, particularly useful when grilling

Depending on the model, some telescopic rails extend partially or fully.

Type

Combination steam: ovens can be used either as a steam oven, or as a traditional oven, or alternatively the two methods can be combined. Electric A SMART STEAM oven offers 3 levels of steam and 5 STEAM-ASSISTED cooking functions to choose
from. The water is loaded into the oven before cooking via an automatic loading tube, and steam
is generated externally and introduced directly into the cavity. The oven calculates the exact amount
of water required for the desired cooking, up to 160ml, and the steam is automatically introduced
into the oven, pulsing on and off during cooking according to the setting.

Traditional cooking functions
  • Upper and lower element only: a traditional cooking method best suited for single items located in the centre of the oven. the top pf the oven will always be hottest. Ideal for roast, fruit cakes, bread etc. Static
  • Fan with upper and lower elements: The elements combined with the fan aim to provide more uniform heat, a similar method to conventional cooking, so pre-heat is required. Most suitable for items requiring slow cooking methods. Fan assisted
  • Circulaire:  The combination of the fan and circular element around it gives a hot air cooking method. This provides many benefits including no preheat if cook time is more than 20 minutes, no flavour transfer when cooking different foods at the same time, less energy, and shorter cook times. Good for all types of food. Ciculaire
  • Circulaire with upper and lower elements: The use of the fan with both elements allows food to be cooked quickly and effectively, ideal for large joints that require thorough cooking. It offers a similar result to rotisserie, moving the heat around the food, instead of moving the food itself, enabling any size or shape to be cooked. Turbo (circolaire + bottom + upper + fan)
  • ECO: The combination of the grill, fan and lower element is particularly suitable for cooking small quantities of food. ECO
  • Grill element: Using of grill gives excellent results when cooking meat of medium and small portions, especially when combined with a rotisserie (where possible). Also ideal for cooking sausages and bacon. Large grill
  • Fan with grill element: The fan reduces the fierce heat from the grill, providing an excellent method of grilling various foods, chops, steaks, sausages etc. giving even browning and heat distribution, without drying out the food. The top two levels recommended for use, and the lower part of the oven can be used to keep items warm at the same time, an excellent facility when cooking a grilled breakfast.
