In April this year, Her Majesty the Queen returned to Mid Wales as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations, during her nationwide tour of the British Isles. The Queen and Prince Phillip travelled to a number of key towns and attractions such as Llandaff Cathederal. The tour culminated in a visit to Crickhowell, a beautiful historic town set in the Brecon Beacons National Park.
During her tour, the Queen was greeted by tens of thousands of well-wishers keen to catch a glimpse of Her Majesty and join in the exciting celebrations. Towards the end of her visit, the Queen paraded through Crickhowell’s main High Street, beautifully decorated with balloons, bunting and Union Jack flags. The procession passed Smeg stockist, Webbs of Crickhowell during the visit, who, like many retailers lining the route, had really gone to town with their fantastic British themed window display, welcoming the Queen to Crickhowell.
Standing in pride of place in the centre of the window display, you may be able to spot a fitting Smeg Union Jack FAB28QUJ1 Fridge, the perfect patriarchal addition to this rather British Jubilee celebration.
