Smeg has unveiled its latest kitchen collection, MUSA, a new aesthetic line of premium built-in kitchen appliances that seamlessly blends artful design and cutting-edge technology. Described as “crafted by light, defined by detail,” the MUSA range draws inspiration from classical Italian architecture and the interplay of light and shadow, while delivering state-of-the-art cooking innovations. The result is an appliance family that is both a style statement in modern kitchens and a showcase of Italian engineering.

Developed in collaboration with Milan-based design studio BorromeodeSilva, MUSA features essential yet refined lines inspired by classical Italian architecture. Its surfaces alternate gloss and matte finishes to create a dynamic play of light and shadow, transforming these appliances into bold graphic statements in the kitchen. Gently rounded contours and balanced proportions lend a soft warmth to the minimalist, monochromatic look, available in deep black or sleek silver, ensuring that MUSA appliances feel architectural yet effortlessly inviting in any home.

The MUSA collection includes ovens (full-sized and compact), drawers, hobs and hoods (hoods coming later this year)

MUSA ovens offer two powerful self-cleaning options. For everyday maintenance, Vapor Clean uses steam to loosen food residues for easy wipe-down cleaning. For a deeper, hands-off clean, select models include Pyrolytic Self-Cleaning, which safely burns off grease and baked-on grime into ash at high temperature, allowing you to just wipe out the remains, no chemicals or scrubbing required. Elegant, minimalist and effortlessly modern, the MUSA induction hobs bring a refined lightness to the worktop. Their smooth glass surface, clean geometry and understated digital detailing create a calm, contemporary aesthetic that complements both classic and modern kitchen environments. Designed with everyday sophistication in mind, the hobs feature subtle contrasts, gentle curves and intuitive DIGItouch or slider controls that feel as considered as they look. Features within the hob range include multi-zone “bridge” technology that links zones for larger cookware, eco-logic advance to limit energy consumption and boosters for quick power when you need it. Induction cooking delivers speed, safety, and precision, reducing cooking times and energy consumption.

Available in 60cm, 75cm, 80cm and 90cm widths, MUSA induction hobs are created with a standard cut‑out, ensuring a seamless upgrade from traditional gas hobs.
