Chicken Milanese with BBQ Vegetables


  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 50g plain flour
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 75g breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • Asparagus
  • 1 courgette
  • 1 red pepper


  1. Pre-heat the oven to 200°C and slide the Smeg Airfry tray and BBQ plate into pre-heat.
  2. Cut each chicken breast in half lengthways so you have four fillets. Put the fillets on a chopping board, cover with a sheet of baking parchment and hit with a rolling pin until they are the same thickness all over.
  3. Arrange the flour, beaten egg and breadcrumbs in order. Take one chicken fillet at a time, coat in the flour, then dip into the beaten egg, and finally coat in the breadcrumbs.
  4. Remove the Airfry tray from the oven and place on the fillets evenly and brush with a little oil. Place into the preheated oven and cook until golden brown.
  5. Next, remove the BBQ plate and carefully lay the asparagus, courgette and peppers onto the plate. Add back into the oven to cook.
