Honey Mustard Sausages

A perfect balance of sweet honey and shar mustard on golden sticky sausage perfect for a quick and easy canape. 

Ingredients

  • 16 Cocktail Sausages
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs (optional)
  • 2 tbsp runny honey
  • 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • Pinch of salt

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C fan.
  2. Lay the cocktail sausages on a lined baking tray and drizzle with a little olive oil. Toss to coat and add rosemary or thyme.
  3. Roast the sausages for about 12 minutes until they begin to brown.
  4. Meanwhile, stir together the runny honey, wholegrain mustard, Dijon mustard and a pinch of salt to make the glaze.
  5. Take the sausages out after their initial cook and brush or spoon the glaze over them. Return to the oven for the final 5 minutes only so the glaze can bubble, caramelise and become beautifully sticky.
  6. Transfer to a serving board, add cocktail sticks and serve warm!
