NEW COFFEE GRINDER FOR SERIOUS COFFEE FANS

Coffee is one of the most popular drinks in the world with billions of us worldwide enjoying our regular fix. With the UK café culture continuing to grow, many of us take out coffee at least once a week as well as choosing to brew in the comfort of our own homes.

Here at Smeg we are passionate about coffee, it is part of our Italian culture, so of course within our appliance range we offer both an Espresso coffee machine and a Drip filter coffee machine, as well as the recently introduced Milk frother.

A true coffee connoisseur knows however that it’s not just about the quality and type of machine being used but also the quality of the coffee which is of equal importance. Only by using freshly ground coffee, with its intense aroma and taste, can you truly experience the best coffee possible. Smeg created the CGF01 coffee grinder to help you grind your own coffee beans and enjoy the freshest, most authentic tasting coffee from home.

Coffee beans are placed directly into the large 350gr Tritan™ bean hopper which can make up to 50 espresso shots! The stainless steel conical burrs grind beans to produce a homogeneous grind that preserves all the delicious coffee aromas without altering flavour. The hopper has a ‘twist & lock’ system for easy removal of coffee beans and the burrs can also be removed for cleaning.

The lever on the side of the machine enables you to select the grind level. There's 30 different grinding levels to choose from. This simple way of grinding allows you to alter the consistency of your grinds depending on your brewing method: Espresso machine, moka stove-top pots, drip coffee machines, or French presses, you can choose the right grain for every machine and taste.
The entire process is fully automatic: once the type of grind and quantity of ground coffee have been selected, the grinder will take care of the rest.
