Hibiscus Berry Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 30ml gin (or botanical non-alcoholic spirit)
  • 20ml hibiscus syrup
  • 4-5 fresh mixed berries (roughly 20g)
  • 10ml fresh lime juice
  • 100-120ml sparkling water (made with the Smeg Soda Maker)
  • Ice

Garnish

  • Mint leaves and a few extra berries

Method

  1. In a shaker or glass, muddle the berries with 10ml fresh lime juice. Then add 30ml gin and 20ml hibiscus syrup.
  2. Add ice and shake (or stir) until well chilled. Then, strain into a glass filled with fresh ice.
  3. Top with 100-200ml of sparkling water made using your Smeg Soda Maker.
  4. To garnish-add a sprig of mint and a few berries

Optional: sugar-rim the glass to add a touch of sparkle.
