SMEG JOIN THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION POPPY APPEAL WITH A FLAGSHIP STORE WINDOW

100 years ago, the guns fell silent on the world’s first truly global war. This year The Royal British Legion are leading the nation to think about all of those who lived through life changing time in our history. It is time to say ‘Thank You’ to all who served, sacrificed and changed our world.

Keen to collaborate on this campaign, Smeg have joined The Royal British Legion’s Poppy appeal through the creation of a stunning display in its main flagship store window on Regent Street St James’s, London. The window at a height of 5m displays specially made Poppies surrounding a 50’s Retro Style FAB28 fridge which holds the Thank You campaign logo and message.

The store is close to where much of the remembrance activity takes place on Armistice.

A percentage of the sales in the store will be donated back to the British Legion who provide lifelong support for the Armed Forces community – serving men and women, veterans and their families.

There is so much to thank the First World War generation for. From the lifesaving advances made by our medics and the major developments in prostatic limbs to the innovations of wireless technology, tea bags and wristwatches.

To the Armed Forces and the First World War generation who served, sacrificed and changed our world, Thank You.  Poppies are also being sold at the Smeg London Store to support The Royal British Legion.
