Breadsticks

Crispy homemade breadsticks made with simple dough, brushed with olive oil and baked on a hot stone. Perfect as a snack or appetiser.

250 g Flour
140 ml Water
7 g Yeast
4 g Salt
Semolina flour, to taste
Oil, to taste

Dissolve the yeast in the water, pour in the flour and start kneading. Add the salt before the water is completely absorbed and keep kneading for another 5 minutes.

Cover the dough with a damp cloth (or cling film) and leave to rise for about 2 hours.

Once risen, resume the mixture and form elongated strips of dough, and then let them rise for another 45 minutes.

After this time, preheat the oven with the stone inside.

Season the breadsticks with a drizzle of oil and bread them in semolina flour. Finally, arrange on the hot stone, covered with baking paper, and bake.
