Stewed beef meatballs

Tender beef meatballs mixed with Parmesan and herbs, stewed with onions and optional tomato sauce. Cooked to perfection using Smartcooking or traditional methods.

400 g Minced beef meat
2 Eggs
30 g Grated Parmesan cheese
50 g Milk
40 g Bread crumbs
20 g Chopped parsley
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
160 g Onions
1 Garlic clove
320 g Tomato sauce
160 ml Water

In a bowl, combine the minced meat, egg, milk, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley then mix vigorously and season to taste.

Form approximately 30 g meatballs.

Cut the onion into very thin slices, place inside a pyrex / porcelain dish and season well with salt and extra virgin olive oil.

If desired, also add a clove of unpeeled garlic.

Add the meatballs and mix gently.
