Step 1

Combine the flour, sugars, spices, salt, and cold butter (cut into cubes) in a bowl. Use your hands to crumble the mixture until it has a sandy texture. Then, add the egg and honey, and mix until a compact dough forms. Cover the dough with cling film and refrigerate it for at least 2 hours.

Step 2

Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 4 mm using a rolling pin. Cut the cookies with Christmas-shaped cutters and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Step 3

Bake the cookies in a preheated static oven at 180°C for approximately 15-17 minutes. After baking, remove from the oven and allow them to cool on a rack.
